Welcome to IHL!

IHL is embedded in an international campus where most people have some sort of intercultural experience. This is due to the fact that IHL’s trustee agency, Liebenzell Mission, has ist headquarters on the same campus, coordinating over 250 missionaries in 22 countries.

English-taught Program: Have you checked out our undergraduate program „Theology/Development Studies“? It is fully open to English speakers through a mix of English-taught courses and advanced AI real-time translation for German courses.”

International students live in a safe environment on campus in the beautiful Black Forest, and have access to mentoring & coaching services by a motivated and faith-based student services & spiritual formation team. In addition, an international & mobility office supports in all general questions such as arrival, visa, health insurance, and much more. In addition, academically strong students have to opportunity to apply for the Baden-Wurttemberg Scholarship.

September School: Your entrance to a great academic experience – Are you interested in receiving credits while visiting prime tourist spots? Then, our two week September School might suit you well. Every September, IHL invites international professors from its partners around the world who teach on subjects related to theology, education, and social work. These classes are taught in English, and take place in the mornings. In the afternoons, you will be able to explore the area.
